Another kit

Here's another quilt that I worked on.  I loved the picture that was on the kit, but I don't think it had the same fabrics in the kit.  It came with this brown fabric that was supposed to be another border for it, but I really didn't like the way it looked so I added the fabric to my scrap bin instead of the quilt.     I used a nice soft flannel for the backing, and then folded it over to make the binding.  I used stitch in the ditch for going around all the blocks and tried free motion quilting in the corner blocks (daisies) and a butterfly in the center block.   

While bumming around on the net, I found  Project Linus .  What an amazing organization!    I contacted the leader of our chapter and got all the information I needed.  During lunch today, I did my drop off of the first quilts.   Hopefully, they are well loved!
